Free Entry to Win $500

Participating teams will turn in two chopped pork butts Saturday, May 20 at 1:00 pm turn in. The public will blind sample from a designated site and vote on their favorite. The team with the most votes is the winner.

Winner receives $250, trophy and free entry (20'x20' space) to next year's event. $500 VALUE. Voting by text.

ENTRY FEE: $200. Covers all four (4) categories and one 20' x 20' space, 110 V / 20 amp service and water supply. Each additional 20' x 20' space is $50.00 each.

Each team will receive four (4) tickets to the Barber Historics Races. Each ticket includes general admission, complimentary Garage access and onsite parking at the Barber Motorsports Park. Kids 15 and under admitted free with a ticketed adult! (All kids must have a kid's ticket.) Additional ticket required for admission to the Museum.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY: In consideration of your “submission or acceptance” of this entry, I, the undersigned, Intending to be legally bound, hereby from myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages against the Smoke on the Water BBQ Cook-Off Committee, State of Alabama, City of Birmingham, Zoom Motorsports, Barber Motorsports Complex, their agents, successors and assignees for any and all injuries suffered by me in this event. Further, I hereby grant full permission to the Smoke on the Water Productions Committee and/or any and all agents authorized by them to use any photographs, video tapes, motion pictures, recording and any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Smoke on the Water BBQ Cook-Off Committee and/or any and all agents authorized by them.

NOTE: NO REFUNDS ON REGISTRATION. In a case of cancellation, the registration amount will be applied to the next available contest that the team can participate in.
