Mike Mills is "The Legend" of barbecue. He is a three-time World Grand Champion Winner of "Memphis in May." In 2009 he was inducted into the BBQ Hall of Fame. He is a co-author of "Peace, Love, and Barbecue: Recipes, Secrets, Tall Tales, and Outright Lies from the Legends of Barbecue."

- Carolyn and Gary Wells Pioneer of Barbecue award, by Jack Daniel's World Invitational Cooking Contest, October 2008.
- Memphis Championship Barbecue: Founded in 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada now has three locations.
