Are you the master of your grilling domain? Now's your chance to see who's Michigan International Speedway's Grilling Guru when it comes to barbecue ribs.
Smoke on the Water Productions presents the Inaugural Ribba-Ramma contest on Saturday, August 14, 2010.
The Ribba-Ramma was designed to crown the BBQ King (or Queen) of the Campground. This amateur contest is open to all race fans and BBQ enthusiasts alike and will be judged in the Michigan International PITmasters State BBQ Championship competition area in North Village, with pre-registration at 5:30 p.m., team meeting Friday at 6:30 pm and the judging to begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
Whether the secret is in the sauce or the smoke, barbecuing is serious business in Michigan. If you have the ultimate rib recipe worth bragging about, then join us. You'll have a slab-u-less time!
WAIVER OF LIABILITY:
In consideration of your “submission or acceptance” of this entry, I, the undersigned, Intending to be legally bound, hereby from myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages against the Smoke on the Water BBQ Cook-Off Committee, State of Arkansas, North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, City of Michigan, Michigan International Speedway, their agents, successors and assignees for any and all injuries suffered by me in this event. Further, I hereby grant full permission to the Smoke on the Water BBQ Cook-Off Committee and/or any and all agents authorized by them to use any photographs, video tapes, motion pictures, recording and any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Smoke on the Water BBQ Cook-Off Committee and/or any and all agents authorized by them.
