$25,000 Guaranteed Prize Money Considered Largest in Southeast Arkansas

The world's best grillers will be in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on September 16 - 17, 2011 for the tenth annual Arkansas State Barbecue Championship presented by Sam’s Club ®.

Considered the largest contest in the state with a guaranteed purse of $25,000, the Arkansas champion's purse of $5,000 is one of the largest on the competition circuit. We're also spreading the love by paying top five overall and through fourteen places in all four categories.

The Arkansas State Barbecue Championship is held at Regional Park surrounded by the Arkansas River and Lake Langhofer. Entry fee is only $250 and includes electricity and water. The park is RV friendly and teams can camp on site for up to four days.

Pine Bluff Regional Park is a complex along Lake Langhofer and the Arkansas River offering camping, fishing, a golf course, ball fields, trails, an amphitheater and a radio-controlled airplane field. It hosts more than 30 bass fishing tournaments a year.
