Medium Barbecue - Northwest Arkansas State Barbecue ChampionshipSmoke on the Water Productions and the Sprindgale Chamber of Commerce presents the inaugural Northwest Arkansas State Barbecue Championship in Springdale, Arkansas August 27-28, 2010.

Considered one of the largest contests in the state with a guaranteed purse of $20,000, the Northwest Arkansas champion's purse of $3,500 is one of the largest on the competition circuit. We're also spreading the love by paying top five overall and through fourteen places in all four categories. 

The Northwest Arkansas State Barbecue Championship is held at Arvest Ballpark, Springdale's new $33 million stadium.
